Gift Planning

We live our Christian life on this earth sowing the seeds of the Gospel. Our goal is to impact as many people as possible by leading them to an eternal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This too is the goal of the ministry at Shults-Lewis. Our desire is to help the children and their families with whom we come in contact to draw closer to Christ.

It is this shared desire to give back to God that has forged our partnership these many years in the ministry at Shults-Lewis. The ministry at Shults-Lewis has helped to build the Kingdom as evidenced by the many young people baptized over the past fifty-plus years.

What a joy it is to be a part of the Lord’s work in the lives of children and their families! We may all pray that our Godly influence and impact might never end, but, we know that our time on this earth will eventually cease. Does our spiritual contribution to the Lord’s work have to cease? Is there a way to carry forward our Christian values after departing this earth and continue bringing young people to Christ?

The answer is “Yes!” Planned estate giving to the Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services endowment, known as the “Children and Families Trust,” is a way to ensure that our Christian goals of evangelism to the lost—and care to those less fortunate—will continue on in perpetuity.

The “Children and Families Trust” is a professionally managed endowment that is overseen by the Shults-Lewis Board of Trustees. It exists to generate needed support for the care of the children and families served by the ministry at Shults-Lewis. This trust allows for friends of Shults-Lewis to perpetuate their earthly works beyond their time on this earth. It gives Christians the ability to proclaim far into the future that God loves children and their families.

This Web site illustrates amazing strategies for folks like yourselves to explore the many possibilities of perpetuating your Christian values in the lives of children and their families. You are encouraged to spend some time browsing through the information found here.

Thank you for considering the possibilities of planned giving.
